【內(nèi)容提要】
為支持研究亞洲相關(guān)議題的下一代法社會(huì)學(xué)學(xué)者，《亞洲法與社會(huì)雜志》(AsianJLS）和亞洲法與社會(huì)研究會(huì)（ALSA）聯(lián)合主辦法社會(huì)學(xué)領(lǐng)域最佳研究生論文年度競(jìng)賽。
1. 資格
參賽論文須符合如下標(biāo)準(zhǔn)：
A. 作者在提交論文時(shí)必須是高等院校中法學(xué)、社會(huì)科學(xué)或其他相關(guān)學(xué)科的研究生學(xué)位候選人或在讀研究生；
B. 對(duì)于合著論文，所有作者均須符合上述A項(xiàng)標(biāo)準(zhǔn)；
C. 論文是作者在攻讀上述研究生學(xué)位或作為上述研究生學(xué)位候選人期間撰寫和完成的；
D. 論文必須用英文撰寫；
E. 論文的主題應(yīng)與亞洲的法與社會(huì)相關(guān)，但關(guān)于社會(huì)-法律理論、方法或者關(guān)于亞洲與其他地區(qū)的比較的優(yōu)秀論文也將被考慮。
2. 投稿流程
請(qǐng)將論文以Microsoft Word文檔形式發(fā)送至[email protected]。在提交論文的郵件中，請(qǐng)?jiān)卩]件主題中標(biāo)明“AJLS-ALSA 2025 Competition”，并注明：（1）您具有參與本次競(jìng)賽的意愿，（2）您目前是一名在讀研究生，以及（3）您尚未將該論文提交給AsianJLS或者任何其他期刊用于發(fā)表。每名學(xué)生僅限提交一篇論文。提交的論文必須包含扉頁(yè)，其中注明：作者所在單位、郵寄地址、電子郵箱、不超過(guò)200字的論文摘要以及論文字?jǐn)?shù)。提交論文的總字?jǐn)?shù)（含腳注和參考文獻(xiàn)）不得超過(guò)10000字。
3. 提交截止時(shí)間
2025年7月31日晚11:59分（上海時(shí)間，GMT+8）
4. 結(jié)果公布
2025年9月中下旬
5. 頒獎(jiǎng)典禮
頒獎(jiǎng)典禮將于2025年12月13日在印度尼西亞加查馬達(dá)大學(xué)舉行的ALSA年會(huì)閉幕式上舉辦。
6. 獎(jiǎng)勵(lì)福利
獲勝論文將在修改后發(fā)表于AsianJLS上。如有獲得榮譽(yù)提名獎(jiǎng)的論文，該論文將獲邀投稿至AsianJLS（但是不保證發(fā)表）。獲勝者將獲得ALSA提供的150美元的現(xiàn)金獎(jiǎng)勵(lì)以及上海交通大學(xué)中國(guó)法與社會(huì)研究院（CISLS）提供的價(jià)值150美元的書券。獲勝者和榮譽(yù)提名獎(jiǎng)獲得者將獲得2026年和2027年兩個(gè)年度的免費(fèi)ALSA會(huì)員資格，并且獲得在上海交通大學(xué)中國(guó)法與社會(huì)研究院以學(xué)生研究助理或者博士后研究員身份工作的資格。

AsianJLS-ALSA2025 Graduate Student Paper Competition
To support the next generation ofsocio-legal scholars studying topics related to Asia, the Asian Journal of Lawand Society (AsianJLS) and the Asian Law and Society Association (ALSA) havejointly established an annual competition for the best paper in the field oflaw and society written by a graduate student.
1. Eligibility
To be eligible for thiscompetition, a paper must meet the following criteria.
A. Theauthor is a candidate/student enrolled in a postgraduate degree program in law,social sciences, or other related disciplines in an institution of highereducation at the time of submission;
B. Fora co-authored paper, all authors must comply with item A above;
C. Thepaper was written and completed during the author’s/authors’ candidature in theabove-mentioned postgraduate program;
D. Thepaper must be written in English;
E. Thepaper should be on a topic related to law and society in Asia, but excellentpapers on socio-legal theory, method, or comparative topics between Asia andother regions will also be considered.
2. Submissionprocedure
Send submissions to as a MicrosoftWord document to [email protected]. In the submissionemail, please include “AJLS-ALSA 2025 Competition” in the email subject line,and indicate that (1) you intend to be considered in the competition, (2) youare currently a student in a postgraduate program, and (3) you have notsubmitted your article to the AsianJLS or any other journals for publication.Submissions are limited to one paper per student. Submissions must include atitle page with the author’s institutional affiliation, mailing address, emailaddress, an abstract of no more than 200 words, and a word count of the paper.The total length of submissions, including footnotes and references, must notexceed 10,000 words.

4. Announcementof results
Around mid to late September2025.
5. Awardceremony
An award ceremony will be held atthe closing session of the 2025 ALSA Annual Meeting on 13 December2025 at Gadjah Mada University, Indonesia.
6. Awardbenefits
The Winner paper will be publishedin the AsianJLS after revisions. If there is any Honorable Mention paper, thepaper will be invited for submission to the AsianJLS (with no guarantee ofpublication). The Winner recipient will receive a cash prize of U$150 from ALSAand U$150 worth of book vouchers provided by the China Institute forSocio-Legal Studies (CISLS), Shanghai Jiao Tong University. Winner andHonorable Mention recipients will receive free ALSA membership for the twocalendar years of 2026 and 2027. They will also be provided theopportunity to work at CISLS either as student Research Associate or asPostdoctoral Fellow.
